To the maximum extent permitted by law, Helix Collective shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, arising from the purchase or use (or misuse) of any product. Helix Collective's total liability arising from any order shall not exceed the amount paid by the Buyer for the relevant product. Nothing in this clause limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for gross negligence, fraud, or death or personal injury caused by Helix Collective's negligence.
Except as expressly stated, all products are sold "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
The Buyer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Helix Collective, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from the Buyer's misuse of any product or breach of these Terms.
By purchasing from this website, the Buyer confirms that they are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
The Buyer is solely responsible for ensuring that the purchase, import, possession, and use of these products complies with all applicable local, national, and international laws.
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
The difference isn't really about purity percentage — both categories can hit 98%+ purity. It's about the manufacturing and documentation system behind the product. Pharmaceutical-grade peptides are produced under cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice), the FDA's formal regulatory framework codified in 21 CFR Part 211, which governs every stage of production with validated processes, environmental monitoring, and full batch-record documentation.
Research-grade peptides are synthesised and tested — typically to the same 95–98%+ HPLC purity standard — but without that regulatory infrastructure sitting behind them. There's usually no formal stability testing programme, no environmental monitoring, and documentation is generally limited to a Certificate of Analysis rather than a full GMP batch record. Research-grade peptides also aren't manufactured or tested as sterile products, since they're intended for laboratory and in vitro use rather than administration to a patient.
The distinction matters for intended use, not just quality: if a compound is going into a patient under medical supervision, it needs to be GMP-manufactured; if it's destined for a research or laboratory setting, research-grade purity is the accepted standard.
